Village Maps

We offer a range of decorative hand-watercoloured local village and river maps which have been drawn by the well known local historian Harry Lane. Most of the maps have been based on the parish tithe maps that existed approximately 160 years ago and each one includes historical informative text and a few small drawings of the more important landmarks/buildings that existed within the parish at that time.

Please note that these maps are only available framed and can be purchased "mounted and framed" or "framed" only.

A "mounted and framed" map will be approx 25 inches x 20 inches in size and a "framed" map will be approx 20 inches x 15 inches.

All maps are only available "framed" or "mounted and framed". The cost of each map is as follows: Framed map £115 Mounted and framed map £140 (Please note that a deposit of 50% of the above prices will be required at the time of ordering.)

Please make all cheques payable to M.Royall. Unfortunately because of the risk of glass breakage we are unable to post completed maps and they will therefore need to be collected from our studio in Almondsbury.

Please remember that because each map is individually hand-watercoloured it can take between two and four weeks between ordering and completion.
